This organic fair trade cotton face cloth has not had the highly caustic industrial wash usually given to cotton towels. It will need a few normal domestic washes to bring out its true softness and absorbency. The cotton was grown organically to cut back on pesticide use, and was then imported on fair trade terms to ensure that no one was exploited to bring it to you.
