These bedspreads are a fair trade product, which means that the weaver receives a fair wage and works in safe and healthy conditions. The producers are encouraged to grow independently, and another step is taken on the path to equity in trade. All our bedspreads are handwoven on handlooms in a manufacturing process which uses no electricity and  not only leaves no carbon imprint, but also but keeps the tradition of hand weaving alive.
