For each pack of friendship organic tea sold, 5 pence is given to the Friends Fund, which donates to someone who is doing a great job helping people and offering new friendship. The first recipient of a donation was Contact the Elderly, who arrange tea parties across Britain for isolated and lonely elderly people. They do this thanks to fabulous volunteers, who give up their time to be drivers, and tea party hosts, and of course friends to their elderly guests.
