Bamboo is a superb natural material as it grows enormously quickly, twice as fast as a tree, and produces 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere. The bamboo storage containers are made in the bamboo villages in Vietnam, close to the sustainable managed plantations, and the products made here help to employ over 100 families. The designers work directly with the craftsmen, cutting out the middle man so the artisans are paid twice the market rate and ensure working conditions and product quality can be carefully monitored.
